Planning a college fest shouldn’t
feel like a crisis.
Problem Statement
While college fests have scaled in ambition, the attendee experience remains broken. Participants often navigate the fest with zero real-time visibility — unsure of what’s happening, where to go, or who to ask. Schedules change without notice. Paper coupons are lost or misused. Essentials like maps, help desks, or lost & found are either buried in PDFs or don’t exist.
When the crowd doesn’t know where to go — the fest loses what makes it magical.
Problem #1: Disconnected Fest Information → No Single Source of Truth
Participants have no central place to check schedules, event updates, or venue changes. Info is scattered across Instagram stories, WhatsApp forwards, and friend circles.
EXAMPLE
A participant arrives for a flagship show, only to find the venue changed 20 minutes ago — and no official communication in sight.
IMPACT
Leads to frustration, confusion, and missed experiences.
Damages perception of the fest’s organization and reliability.
Problem #2: Manual, Outdated Fest Coupons
Food and merch coupons are still paper-based, easily lost, and hard to track. There’s no transparency in usage, no reissuance process, and no digital fallback.
EXAMPLE
A participant buys 5 paper coupons, misplaces 2, and ends up paying twice — with no way to reclaim or report them.
IMPACT
Poor experience for users, especially outsiders unfamiliar with the process.
Increased manual work for volunteers and counters.
Problem #3: No Fest Utility Layer → Poor Participant Experience
There’s no accessible hub for essential tools like maps, help desks, or lost & found. Participants waste time searching for info or stall-hop asking volunteers.
EXAMPLE
A student loses their bag during a DJ night — no central location, number, or platform to report or retrieve it.
IMPACT
Undermines the sense of safety, support, and trust in the fest.
Creates unnecessary crowding and manual query load on help desks.
Defining the Problem
“College fests promise unforgettable experiences — but for participants, they often feel like a maze of missed events, confusing updates, and disconnected moments.”
Goals
Business Goals
Build a scalable B2B2C event platform for colleges
Establish EVENTT as the go-to fest operating system, driving campus-wide adoption and recurring usage across event cycles.
Monetize through premium features and institutional partnerships
Offer paid plans with advanced analytics, branding, and operational control for large-scale college events and corporate clients.
Create a standardized data layer for fest intelligence
Capture structured data on footfall, event interest, and engagement patterns to enable smarter fest planning and monetizable insights.
User Goals
Simplify planning for fest organizers
Give student leads and volunteers an intuitive, all-in-one dashboard to manage teams, tasks, schedules, and live updates without chaos.
Deliver a smooth, connected experience for attendees
Ensure participants always know what’s happening, where to go, and how to engage — from event updates to venue maps and help tools.
Reduce dependency on manual coordination tools
Replace fragmented planning via WhatsApp, Excel, and PDFs with a centralized platform that keeps everyone informed and aligned.
Solution
The proof-of-concept introduces an immersive reservation system where guests enter a 3D replica of the restaurant, navigate freely, explore tables, and view real-time availability through floating pop-ups. A contextual booking panel with prefilled details streamlines the flow, making reservations seamless and engaging.
Reservations are reimagined as an immersive, transparent, and delightful experience.
Solution #1: Unified Fest Command Center
All planning tools — from team roles and schedules to tasks and announcements — brought into a single, intuitive dashboard.
WHY IT WORKS?
By giving every stakeholder a shared source of truth, EVENTT eliminates silos and miscommunication. It makes cross-team planning visible, accountable, and drastically more efficient.

Progress
Landing Page Live
EVENTT’s public-facing site is up and running, built to communicate the vision and attract early adopters.
Waitlist Open (100+ Colleges Interested)
Over 100 colleges have joined the waitlist through organic outreach, signaling strong early interest.
Pilot Launch Planned for NIT Trichy
Launching our first full-scale pilot with fest teams at NIT Trichy to test real workflows and impact.
PMF Experiments Underway
Running discovery calls and feature testing with fest heads and club leads to shape a product that truly fits.
What I Did
Validated with 20+ Colleges
Spoke directly with fest heads and core teams to uncover pain points, confirm demand, and refine the product thesis.
Designed, Wrote & Built the Landing Page
Created the full landing page experience — from brand voice to UX — to capture early adopters and communicate value clearly.
Mapped the MVP Experience Flow
Planned and wireframed the core user journeys for organizers and participants, aligning tech feasibility with user needs.
Structured Early-Bird Rollout Plan
Built a phased launch strategy, including limited invites, waitlist perks, and high-touch onboarding for early partners.
Defined Monetization & GTM Roadmap
Outlined a tiered freemium model and GTM approach to convert college use cases into a scalable campus SaaS offering.
Expected Outcome
50% Reduction in Planning Time
With unified dashboards and clearer task ownership, fest heads can spend less time coordinating and more time executing.
70% Boost in Volunteer Coordination
Real-time tasking, alerts, and role assignments improve volunteer responsiveness and reduce last-minute drop-offs.
3X Visibility into Ops & Budgets
Centralized tracking ensures every team lead knows what’s happening — from finance to logistics to guest management.
2X Faster Team Onboarding
New team members can plug into pre-built workflows and dashboards, cutting onboarding friction in half.
Zero Confusion on D-Day
Live updates, team sync, and structured workflows eliminate the panic and firefighting typical on fest days.
Why This Matters
Spotting Non-Obvious Gaps
I look beyond surface-level pain points to uncover inefficiencies in real-world workflows that most overlook — and turn them into product opportunities.
User-First, Insight-Backed Thinking
I design solutions that feel intuitive because they’re built from direct user insight — not assumptions. When it clicks, it feels obvious in hindsight.
End-to-End Product Ownership
My work extends beyond UI/UX — I contribute to product positioning, validation, GTM, acquisition loops, and monetization strategy.
Prioritize What Moves the Needle
I’m intentional about what to build first — focusing on high-impact, testable features while leaving room for long-term scalability.
Turning Early Traction into Something Bigger — Looking for Collaborators, Builders, and Believers in Campus Event-Tech
Button
I’m currently validating EVENTT with real users and gathering feedback. If you’re a campus leader, fest head, product thinker, or someone exploring event-tech, I’d love to connect. I’m open to co-building, feedback loops, or even spinning this into something bigger if the traction holds. Let’s talk.
